The «Mobility Verzasca» project develops and implements attractive and needs-based mobility solutions for the local population and guests in the Verzasca Valley.
The project was launched by the Association of Municipalities in the Verzasca Valley and the Verzasca Foundation. conim is responsible for the operational management of the project, which is being implemented in close cooperation with local stakeholders as well as PostAuto and SBB. The Canton of Ticino and the Swiss Federal Coordination Office for Sustainable Mobility (KOMO) are supporting the project as a model project for multiplication in other peripheral regions.
A first milestone in the implementation of the project is the use of a PostAuto electric London taxi during a two-week demonstration phase (see article). The «door-to-door offer» can be booked via app. The offer individualizes the mobility of guests and residents of the valley and complements the public transport service in an optimal way.
