Since 2020, Gstaad Saanenland Tourismus, Tourismus Adelboden-Lenk-Kandersteg AG and Lenk-Simmental Tourismus AG have joined forces to drive forward digitalisation. The «Berner Oberland West – gemeinsam digital» project is preparing the three tourism organisations and their service partners for the digital future. The project also plays a key role in boosting the competitiveness of these tourist regions.
The third and final phase of the project has now started. This phase will see the expansion of the foundations of digital transformation, with a focus on collecting and utilising data for product design, marketing, and collaboration with service partners. A new CRM system will help further optimise internal processes. In addition, the «Tourismusbarometers» will provide tourism organisations with key performance indicators based on added value for the regions. Furthermore, over the coming months, the path for long-term digital collaboration is to be paved.
conim ag has the project lead and oversees it in cooperation with touristika GmbH, the Center for Regional Economic Development – Tourism Research Unit (CRED-T, University of Bern), Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH) and Made in Bern.
