Sofia Strahl studied Hospitality Management at the École hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), specialising in entrepreneurship and digitalisation in the hotel industry. She gained international experience early on, including during an exchange year in Costa Rica and through work placements in the hospitality industry on Lake Como. She also deepened her knowledge at a branding agency in Geneva.
After completing her degree, Sofia Strahl initially worked in business development before co-founding and leading a hospitality technology company as CEO. In this role, she was responsible for developing new business areas, establishing operational structures and implementing digitalisation and transformation projects for hotels and other accommodation providers. Her work included supporting hotel openings, organisational development and the introduction of new operating and service concepts.
Sofia Strahl has been a project manager at conim ag since August 2026.
