eight hotels from the two holiday regions of Interlaken and Aletsch Arena, conim is supporting the project “Succession-ready hotels in holiday regions”, which is co-financed by Innotour/SECO. Other project partners are the Tourism Research Centre CRED-T of the University of Bern, the Swiss Association for Hotel Credit, the Swiss Association of Municipalities and HotellerieSuisse. In addition, the hotel cooperations Aletsch-Arena, Lötschentaler, Matterhorn Valley, Swiss Alpine Hotels and Vallée d’Illiez are actively involved in the project.
The model project is intended to support hotels in solving succession issues; to develop and implement strategically viable business concepts that match the region and are capable of being financed; and to structurally further deepen the cooperation between the involved businesses. The project will be launched in February 2021.
