Learning parks of the Destination Gstaad: «Every beginning is … well organised»

The five learning parks in the Gstaad holiday region have a new look across all locations in the 2023/24 winter season. With the support of the local municipalities, the Canton of Bern via funds from the New Regional Policy (NRP) and other partners, as well as the association members’ own financial resources, a high six-figure amount was invested in the learning parks’ infrastructure.

The new look is the first visible element of the new association, which was founded as part of the project «Optimisation of Snow Sports Saanenland» (POSS). Two further components of the project are the expansion of the inter-company cooperation between the ski schools to utilise additional operational synergy potentials and the design and realisation of a learning park for winter and summer activities on the mountain. In the future, guests shall have access to attractive activities even when there is a lack of snow in the valley.

The project « Optimisation of Snow Sports Saanenland» will run until mid-2025. Its lead partners are the five Swiss ski schools in the destination under the guidance of the tourism organisation Gstaad-Saanenland Tourismus. Bergbahnen Destination Gstaad AG is working on the project as a partner. conim is supporting the project in terms of content and methodology.
