Since the beginning of October, the “Verzasca Mobile” has been on the road in the Verzasca Valley: a door-to-door mobility service that can be booked via app, which uses 100% electric vehicles and allows sharing of journeys between users. The aim of the project is to ensure a flexible mobility service suitable for remote regions that improves the quality of life of locals, the local economy, and the attractiveness of the region for guests. The mobility service will start with a two-year pilot phase.
The project promoter is the Verzasca Valley Municipal Association with the support of the Municipality of Verzasca. Operationally, the project is being implemented by the Verzasca Foundation with the support of PostAuto.
conim accompanies the operational team and the project’s monitoring group and is responsible for the development of a feasible business concept that will secure the mobility service in the long term.
The “Verzasca Mobile” project is supported by the SBB and the Ascona-Locarno tourism organization and co-financed by the Canton of Ticino (Office for Economic Development of the Department of Finance and Economy) and the Federal Office of Transport.
