For several years conim has been supporting a Swiss MedTech company, in which a state-owned Chinese company helds the majority stake since 2018. The company was founded in 1979 and is still managed by its founder.
The cooperation with the Chinese state offers great opportunities regarding access to a growing market. However, the cultural challenges are enormous. Our learning process has been steep and with some setbacks. We are currently fighting hard to save the Swiss company with a long tradition.
