In the evening of 19 January 2026, the ‘Overall Development of the Gwatt Site’ working group presented the current status of the project in the Zweisimmen community hall. The event attracted considerable interest, with around 180 people in attendance.
A rough draft of the utilisation concept for the further development of the site with the existing school and sports facilities was presented. This provided those present with an initial insight into the planned project design, while also offering them the opportunity to provide feedback.
The next step is to develop the preliminary feasibility study into a preliminary project, involving the relevant stakeholders.
The working group is being supported by conim AG in collaboration with hb architekten on behalf of the municipality of Zweisimmen.
