Around 120 people took part in the 2nd Swiss Hiking Summit, which was held in Saanen near Gstaad on 19 and 20 September 2024. The Swiss Hiking Summit acts as a bridge between the hiking trail infrastructure and tourism and connects participants with different technical and professional backgrounds. The inputs from the speakers and the discussion on «Hiking & added value», «Generations X, Y, Z» and «The future of hiking» were technically excellent and inspiring, with the right touch of humour. This enabled an exchange of experiences, which resulted in various innovative ideas and implementation projects.
